December saw the launch of Aetna International’s new ‘vHealth at Home, powered by Qured’ service. Aetna members can now experience the same high-quality medical services currently enjoyed by Qured users, under their plans.
What does vHealth at Home Offer?
Already loved by thousands of happy patients, Qured offers same-day appointments with highly-experienced GPs and physios at any convenient location. Now Aetna International’s members can benefit from the same great care, in their home or any other convenient location within London Zones 1-4, through ‘vHealth at Home’.
No more travelling to clinics, no more crowded waiting rooms; just great care from expert practitioners when they need it.
All of Qured’s GPs are GMC-registered and NHS-trained and are able to provide treatment for common ailments, offer prescriptions, fit to work notes and make appropriate referrals within 4 hours of booking. Qured is available from 8:00am - 10:00pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
A Growing Issue
The roll-out of this service comes at a critical time. Londoners, now more than ever, are struggling to access care. In May, Pulse reported that there has been a 15% increase in Londoners’ waiting times for a GP appointment. In a report, the British Medical Association found that over 2.2 million patients waited more than 28 days before they could be seen.
